| Our recent Ofsted inspection is now available to download.
Staff, Governors and students are delighted by the conclusions of the report, which describes us as a good school with some outstanding attributes. Some outstanding examples include student attainment as well as the extent to which students feel safe, adopt healthy lifestyles and contribute to the school and the wider community.
The school’s excellent ethos and philosophy was cited, alongside good processes for self-evaluation and action planning.
The effectiveness of care, guidance and support was also considered outstanding, as was the effectiveness of our governing body.
Our Sixth Form came in for particular praise as a “lively and purposeful environment” where ”students develop good social and personal skills and become confident and articulate young people.” "They make good progress, with above average attainment."
We are all very pleased with the outcome of the inspection. Head Boy, Kieran Osborne, and Head Girl, Georgina Hanafin, said: “We already knew our school was a good school and Ofsted have proved our views to be right. Other students feel the same and they’re not surprised either!”.
A letter about the report has already been sent to parents, and can be viewed here.
