School closure in the event of severe weather conditions. All information regarding the closure of the school is broadcast on BBC Radio Shropshire (96.0 FM).
A decision to close the school will be relayed to BBC Radio Shropshire before 7.45am.
In the event of early closure during the day, BBC Radio Shropshire will be informed immediately; our website will announce the closure and all subscribers to SchoolComms will be alerted. Information will also appear on the Shropshire Council website: www.shropshire.gov.uk/emergency.nsf/ - then click on “School Closures Information” in the left hand panel. We respectfully request that parents do not make phone calls to the school regarding closure, as staff and communications channels may be at a premium.
