Puzzles are often a good way to learn or revise facts and skills. There are many available on the net. Those listed here seem interesting. We will add to the
list as students try them out and recommend the good ones.
KEY STAGE 3:

This is the most fun you can have whilst learning. You can even get the games on your mobile phone. Some of our favourites are:
Whack Attack
Lets you whack and zap medieval characters, mad professors or aliens. Answer questions correctly to gain extra time. You can choose to play Maths in the control room,
English on the stage or Science in the lab.
Elemental
Tornado, thunder or ice? The choice is yours. Conquer the elements with your knowledge of Maths, English or Science. You can play on your own, or against your friends.
Spherox
What a name. What a game. You can travel through space picking up doughnuts and trying to work your way across platforms whilst trying to decide whether something is a
simile or metaphor. The good thing about this game is that you can combine all three subjects: Maths, Science and English rather than having to do each separately.
